TITU Journal of Integrative Medicine (TJIM)

General Principles

TITU Journal of Integrative Medicine (TJIM) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes high-quality research in health and medical sciences, with a particular focus on integrative, complementary, and natural medicine.

The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:

Original Research Articles

Clinical Trials

Observational Studies

Review Articles

Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses

Case Reports and Case Series

Submitted manuscripts must not have been previously published or be under consideration elsewhere.

The corresponding author is responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and approval of the manuscript by all co-authors.

All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening for:

Scope relevance

Formatting compliance

Ethical standards

Plagiarism detection

Only manuscripts that meet these criteria proceed to peer review.

The journal reserves the right to accept, reject, or request revisions (scientific or linguistic).

Authorship must follow the recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).

All listed authors must have made substantial contributions to the work. Changes in authorship after submission are not permitted.

Authors are encouraged to follow internationally recognized reporting guidelines, including:

CONSORT (for clinical trials)

PRISMA (for systematic reviews)

The official language of the journal is English.

Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt

Line spacing: Double

Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides

Word Limits

Short Articles: up to 3,000 words

Full Articles: up to 6,000 words

Review Articles: up to 9,000 words

Provide 4–7 keywords using standard medical terminology.

Introduction

Clearly state the research problem, objective, and significance. Avoid including results.

Materials and Methods

Provide sufficient detail to ensure reproducibility.

For clinical studies, include:

Study design

Participants

Interventions

Statistical analysis

Ethical Considerations

Studies involving human participants must include approval from an appropriate ethics committee and informed consent.

Animal studies must follow institutional and international ethical guidelines.

Clinical Trial Registration

All clinical trials must be registered in a publicly accessible registry (e.g., ClinicalTrials.gov) prior to submission.

The registration number must be included in the manuscript.

Results

Present findings clearly

Avoid duplication

Reference all tables and figures

Include SD or SE where appropriate

Discussion

Interpret findings, compare with previous studies, and highlight significance.

Conclusion

Summarize key findings concisely.

Data Availability Statement

Authors should provide a statement describing the availability of data supporting the findings of the study.

Funding

All sources of financial support must be disclosed.
