TITU Journal of Integrative Medicine (TJIM) follows a rigorous and structured double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout all stages of evaluation.
All submitted manuscripts must comply with the journal’s scope, formatting requirements, and ethical standards. Submissions that do not meet these criteria may be returned to authors for correction prior to peer review.
Originality Requirement
TJIM considers only manuscripts that:
Are original and have not been previously published
Are not under consideration by another journal
Are not simultaneously submitted elsewhere
Review Process
All manuscripts undergo a structured multi-stage evaluation process:
1. Initial Editorial Screening
Upon submission, manuscripts are evaluated by the editorial team to ensure:

Compliance with formatting requirements
Adherence to ethical standards
Successful plagiarism screening
Only manuscripts that meet these criteria proceed to peer review.
2. Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent expert reviewers in the relevant field.

3. Editorial Decision
Based on reviewers’ reports, the editorial team makes one of the following decisions:

Minor Revision
Major Revision
Reject
In cases of conflicting reviewer opinions, an additional independent reviewer may be invited.
Confidentiality and Ethics
All manuscripts and review reports are treated as strictly confidential.
Reviewers must not:
Share manuscript content
Use unpublished information for personal advantage
Disclose any part of the manuscript
Reviewers are required to declare any potential conflicts of interest before accepting a review assignment.
Authors must ensure that submitted manuscripts are anonymized to preserve the integrity of the double-blind review process.

The average time from submission to first decision is approximately 3–5 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and manuscript complexity.
