TITU Journal of Integrative Medicine (TJIM) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and safeguarding the integrity of the academic record.
The journal adheres to the principles and best practices established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and applies these guidelines throughout the editorial and publication process.
Duties of Editors
Editors are responsible for:
Ensuring a fair, unbiased, and timely peer review process
Evaluating manuscripts based solely on scientific merit, originality, and relevance
Maintaining the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts
Preventing and managing conflicts of interest in the editorial process
Taking appropriate action in response to ethical concerns or misconduct
Duties of Reviewers
Reviewers are expected to:
Provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations
Maintain strict confidentiality of all manuscript content
Declare any potential conflicts of interest before accepting review assignments
Refrain from using unpublished information for personal advantage
Duties of Authors
Authors must:
Submit original, unpublished work that is not under consideration elsewhere
Properly cite all sources and avoid plagiarism
Disclose any conflicts of interest
Accurately present data and results without fabrication or manipulation
Cooperate fully with the peer review process and respond to reviewer comments
Plagiarism and Originality
TJIM enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism.
All submitted manuscripts are screened using professional plagiarism detection tools (e.g., iThenticate / Crossref Similarity Check). Manuscripts containing plagiarism, duplication, or unethical practices will be rejected or retracted.
Conflict of Interest
All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any financial, personal, or professional conflicts of interest that may influence their work or decisions.
Handling Misconduct
The journal takes all allegations of research and publication misconduct seriously.
In cases of suspected misconduct (including plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate publication, or authorship disputes), the journal follows COPE guidelines and flowcharts to investigate and resolve issues.
Appropriate actions may include:
Rejection of the manuscript
Publication of corrections
Retraction of published articles
Notification of relevant institutions

If errors or ethical concerns are identified after publication, the journal will issue:
